2011 CCI Reunion is coming!

Main details have now been finalized! CCI's past and present families are invited to attend our 2011 Reunion in Franklin, TN, July 23-24th. The main event will be held July 24th, with a pre-event dinner the afternoon of Saturday, July 23. Tickets for each event must be purchased by adding the event to your card below.

Main Event:

The main event of the reunion will be held Sunday, July 24, at the brand new Sodium facility from 1-5 p.m. Sodium is a Christian-owned, entertainment center and coffee house (it's very large!). It is an indoor facility (great for summer because of heat and chance of rain/storms) that has rock-climbing, a climbing tree, video game centers, billiards, and much more so that children (even the children over the age of 18…ha!) of all ages can enjoy themselves! We will enjoy a barbeque meal together, as well as fun and fellowship!

Main event tickets which include your Sunday meal and all activities at Sodium (but does not include any ala carte meal items sold by Sodium) are $18 per adult (12+), $9 per child ages 3-11, and free for children under the age of 3.

Pre-Reunion Dinner:

We will have a Saturday evening meal at the local Golden Corral. Tickets are sold separately for this event. The main event ticket does not include Saturday's meal.

Tickets will be sold as Golden Corral is providing a special party rate that includes your meal, drink and gratuity. The ticket rates are as follows: Adults (age 14 and up): $14; Children ages 11-13: $9.50; Children ages 4-10: $6.75; and children three and under are free (please do "purchase" a ticket though the ticket will be free so we have an accurate count). You can purchase tickets through the website or by sending a check to CCI.

Lodging:

CCI has reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Brentwood Hotel. All rooms must be booked by June 23, 2011 to receive CCI's rate.

Before reserving, please take the following into consideration:

All hotel rooms at the Hilton are suites. They have a living room with a pull-out couch, plus the bedroom. The area hotels also have another event going on all the weekends of July. Therefore, they only had FIVE suites with the bedroom having two double beds left. HOWEVER, I have talked to an area family who has stayed there multiple times, and even though they have a large family, she said they have used the King suite before with no problem. The hotel says there is enough room for a cot in the living room, though it will be a bit more cramped.

In light of the above information, please allow families that are large enough and have enough older children/adults who MUST have room for at least six to take the double rooms. If your family can manage to utilize the King suites (large King bed instead of 2 double beds), please do so. Some suggestions would be allowing several small children to sleep in the king bed, or to bring sleeping bags for some or to ask for the extra cot if needed. You can also choose to book two king rooms, but please be aware that at least one person over the age of 18 must be in each room. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we believe your experience at the Hilton and the reunion will more than make up for the difference!

In addition, please let Angela know when you have booked your room and which type of room you booked. This is very important as we have only blocked 30 rooms for now, and will need to add more as soon as possible if the 30 fill up. There are other hotels in the area.

The Hilton Brentwood has an indoor pool, large and beautiful lobby, an atrium, library and other amenities.

Rooms have been blocked for Saturday and Sunday nights. You can choose to arrive Friday or stay later, but you will need to make those reservations at the standard rate. The block room rate is $105. If you wish to stay Friday night, let Angela know. It is our understanding that if you use the link provided below to block your rooms, that you will also get the $105 rate for additional nights you stay, though we cannot guarantee this. Please do book all your nights together.
