Short Term Projects
CCI will continually be adding new short term projects throughout the year as various needs arise. We will keep these posted on our website or you may contact the Coordinator for details as they become available
Current Projects:
Saving Young Lives (Crisis Pregnancy Center for Unwed Mothers )

What a privilege to come alongside an organization who is willing to preserve the sanctity of life. This program involves several individuals who counsel young unwed mothers regarding the options they have in giving their unborn child life. The program involves counseling, prenatal care, and a place to stay until their child is born. The cost to the organization is approximately $900.00 per birth. This includes: room and board, pre-natal expenses, and delivery at a private hospital. This is a very worthwhile project that will have long term effects. If you would be interested in sponsoring a mother or just able to make a small donation, please indicate so by writing Saving Young Lives in the memo section.
Through partnering together in ministry, we can make an impact for the future of children in the name of Jesus Christ.

During our June visit we were able to visit our currently sponsored children to take pictures and deliver gifts from their sponsors. I cannot tell you how overjoyed the children were to know they had a sponsor. In early 2008 CCI has 100 children sponsored. This is a growing program that seems to be enjoyable for all involved. Would you consider sponsoring a child today?
During our last visit, Jennifer Crist , a member of our humanitarian aid team, decided she and her family would like to sponsor a child. This was the response after telling this precious little girl that she now has a sponsor. The picture says it all.

NEW WING IN ORPHANAGE # 2
FOR GIRLS 2-14 YEARS OLD
Due to the adoption crisis in Guatemala, orphanages that were exclusive for boys have had to open their doors for girls also. There are more and more children
in need of temporary and/or permanent shelter. The orphanage is requesting our help in providing for
them the following items:
These are some of the basic needs they have now. If you find it in your heart to help with this special request the orphanage and CCI will be very grateful. GOD BLESS!
CCI SPONSOR CELEBRATION
ON CHRISTMAS 2007
The second week of December 2007 the Humanitarian Aid staff and a couple of sponsor mothers visited Guatemala city to celebrate Christmas with the children. Three orphanages with more than 300 children were taken to Chuck E. Cheese for a whole day of celebration. They had a great day of fun and enjoyment. They got their tokens, played the machines and later redeemed them with excitement. It was a joyful day for this children who most of them look forward to this date of the year when CCI takes them to have a party. They ate their pizzas, sodas, snacks and saw their special show. It is so rewarding to see the faces of so many children smiling and being so grateful. What a blessing to bless others.
The caretaker of this children were also taken to a special dinner as a gesture of gratitude for their kindness and loving care of the children. For many of them is the first time they go to this type of dinner party, so it is a treat for them also when this time of the year comes.
