What is a Podcast?
A PodCast is simply an audio file that can be listened to online or on any device that will play .mp3 audio files.
How might a Podcast be helpful for adoptive parents?
A PodCast is a great way for adoptive parents to learn about complicated information that is sometimes easily explained and listened to rather than read. PodCasts are also great ways to offer a record of Q&A sessions or interviews to those who may have missed the original broadcast. We will offer begin offering PodCasts in places where information might appear confusing or complicated as points of clarification.
What kind of Podcasts will CCI offer?
1. Points of Clarification - When you see the PodCast icon -
- we will offer Podcast audio files for clarification.
2. Interviews - In the near future, we will be interviewing key players in the adoptive world and publishing the interviews in our client area.
3. Client Area - Each program will offer Podcasts for key items in the placements process to help adoptive parents fully understand procedures, policies, and guidelines.
Where do I find the Podcasts ?
You will be able to find them on this page, but the majority of them will be located in our client area.
Do I need special software to listen to a Podcast?
No. All you need is to click on the link and listen. You do need speakers or headphones, however!
